The Awards
The UK is home to the world’s premier financial services centre and a burgeoning financial technology market. The UK FinTech Awards were developed to celebrate this incredible community, and the achievements and successes of the UK’s best and brightest.
The categories are designed to cover the full spectrum of fintech, and submissions are judged by an independent panel of experts. The awards culminate in a black-tie ceremony and dinner, held in London, where the finalists meet, network and celebrate as a community.
Rising Star of the Year Award
This category recognizes an individual who has shown exceptional promise and impact in the fintech sector. Nominees should have a demonstrated history of significant achievements in fintech, including past roles, memberships in industry-related organizations, and major accomplishments. The award focuses on the individual’s contributions to the development, enhancement, or release of innovative financial products or services. It seeks to highlight their internal efforts within their organization that have driven progress and success. The contribution of the nominee to the broader fintech industry, through thought leadership, community involvement, or other sector-wide initiatives, is also a key consideration in this category. This award aims to celebrate those who are not only advancing their organization but also leaving a lasting imprint on the fintech landscape.
